DESCRIPTION:The rapid growth of information technology has thrown up e
 normous opportunities in the field of library science\, especially dig
 ital libraries (DL). Seeing the potential of leveraging this tool for 
 learning and bridging the knowledge gap\, TERI’s Library and Informa
 tion Centre has already conducted two international conferences on dig
 ital libraries since the year 2004. It is now proposed to host the thi
 rd such conference from 23–26 February in 2010 organized by TERI in
